Here are just a few examples of our work:
Forge Festival is The Knotted Project’s most exciting and ambitious project to date. This annual theatre festival, now in it's 4th year, is co-designed with young people empowers creative young people across Cumbria to tell their story and make a statement through original performances that they co-create with professional artists from The Knotted Project.
The Knotted Project have been working with the Stage Directions programme since 2020. They were lead artists on the 2023 Stage Directions Summer Program delivering theatre & Co-Creation in Salford. Stage Directions is a theatre making programme for young people in Salford. Led by the Salford LCEP & partners & funded by DCMS & Arts Council England.
We deliver co-creation film projects with young people so they can tell their own story, make a statement and express themselves creatively.
A 45-minute film, created and filmed in lockdown in 2021 by young people in response to the pandemic.
